Biluochun (“green snail spring”) is a classic Chinese green tea named for its tightly rolled, snail-like spirals. The small leaves are covered in fine down, and the style is generally described as fresh and floral, with a light, fruity sweetness.
This 100 g tin keeps the leaves protected and is easy to keep on a shelf. Brew in a glass or gaiwan with water around 75–80 °C (167–176 °F) and watch the spirals unfurl.
Ingredients: Green tea. Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from light and strong odors.
We haven’t tasted this batch yet; tasting notes describe Biluochun green tea in general.
