Keemun (Qimen) black tea from Anhui is one of China’s classic black teas. Golden Needle (Hong Jin Zhen) is the supplier’s name for this style, generally described as sweet and fragrant, with cocoa, floral and malt notes and a smooth finish – lighter and more delicate than many everyday breakfast blacks.
This 50 g tasting pack is a practical size for trying the style at home before a larger gift jar. Brew gongfu or in a mug.
Ingredients: Black tea. Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from light and strong odors.
We haven’t tasted this batch yet; tasting notes describe Keemun Golden Needle in general.
