Pu-erh is a fermented Chinese tea. “Ripe” (shou) pu-erh is generally dark, smooth and earthy; “raw” (sheng) pu-erh is generally brighter and more bracing.
This box holds 30 different small tuocha (bird’s-nest shapes) and mini cakes, each roughly one session. The supplier sells it as a mixed “blind box”, so the selection varies from box to box – part of the fun is finding the styles you like.
Ingredients: Pu-erh tea. Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from light and strong odors.
We haven’t tasted this selection yet; tasting notes describe pu-erh in general.
