Shou Mei (Shoumei) is a white tea made from later-picked leaves and is often pressed into bricks. It is generally described as mellow and soft, with hay-like and dried-fruit notes. Break off sessions as you go rather than brewing the whole block at once.
Form is a 250 g tea brick (pressed rectangular block). Suitable for gongfu brewing, mug steeping, or a gentle simmer.
Ingredients: White tea. Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from light and strong odors.
We haven’t tasted this batch yet; tasting notes describe Shou Mei white tea bricks in general.
