Rock oolong (yancha) covers classic styles such as Da Hong Pao and related roasted cultivars. Cups are generally warm, toasty and mineral, and hold up well to repeated short steeps.
This six-packet box totals about 50 g. Each packet is one full gaiwan session – useful for travel or for sharing the style without weighing leaf.
Ingredients: Oolong tea. Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from light and strong odors.
We haven’t tasted this batch yet; tasting notes describe rock oolong in general.
